Let’s Talk About Sony Tablet S

Tablet market has becomes very popular. Almost all big brands are making their own tablets with different features. Now even lately Sony has also joined this competition. Sony has launched Sony Tablet S. But after reading its features I really disappoint from its some features. Let’s talk about this new tablet.

Operating System: This new Tablet runs on Android Honeycomb 3.2 operating system which is quite good for tablets.

Processor: It has very powerful processor of Nvidia Tegra dual core processor with 1GHz speed. It also has 1GB Ram which can really give fast tablet experience. So in terms of speed it is really having strong features.

Design: It is having good back design which really gives good grip.

Camera: It is having 5MP of back camera and VGA as front camera. Even though it is having 5MP camera, the result of camera is not that good.

Play Station Certified: This is a unique feature. It is certified for play station games. But unfortunately there aren’t more games for tablet version.

Memory: Inbuilt memory is big of 16/32GB. They are having even memory card option. But the cache is that memory card is not accessible from tablet directly. There is option to transfer data from memory card to inbuilt memory. But phone can’t use data of memory card directly. I don’t know what the purpose of memory card is if it is works like this!!!

Video Support: It surely supports high definition videos but other feature missing is it not supports the popular video format DivX and Xvid. Means we need to convert those videos into mp4 format to play in tablet which can be really big headache.

So this is it. There are few good features but the bad ones too. Specially that memory card problem! Sony enters in tablet field lately but I am sure they will give some cool tablets in future. But for this one there are still some down falls. Hope they will consider these things for their next product.
